    Description:

The MA860E Stepper Driver Board Controller is a high-performance micro-stepping driver based on pure-sinusoidal current control technology. With this technology and the self-adjustment technology (self-adjust current control parameters) for different motors, the drive motors can run with smaller noise, lower heating, smoother movement and have better performances at higher speeds than most of the drivers in the markets. It is suitable for driving 2-phase and 4-phase hybrid stepping motors, so the Nema23, Nema34 and Nema42 stepper motors with a 2.6A-7.2A current will be suitable.

    Instruction:

Leadshine mainly includes digital stepper drive, stepper motor, simple servo system, AC servo system, digital DC servo system, integrated motor, multi-axis PCI motion control card, stand-alone motion controller, dedicated CNC system In the electronics, machinery, measurement, laser, medical, textile, packaging, advertising, and other industries hundreds of automation equipment has been widely used.
Microstep resolutions and output current are programmable, the former can be set from full-step to 102,400 stepsIrev and the latter can be set from 0.5A to 8.2A. However, when it's not in software configured mode, this drive uses an 8-bit DIP switch to set micro-step resolution, and motor operating current, standstill current, and pulse active edge as shown in the following figure:

Micro step Resolution Selection When its not in software configured mode, the micro-step resolution is set by SW5, 6, 7, 8 of the DIP switch as shown in the following table

When it's not in software configured mode, the first three bits (SW1, 2, 3) of the DIP switch are used to set the dynamic current. Select a setting closest to your motor's required current.

Note: Due to motor inductance, the actual current in the coil may be smaller than the dynamic current setting, particularly under high-speed conditions.
