Description:
SunRobotics Renesas Quick Learning Evaluation Development Board & E2 emulator Lite Programmer kit for RL78 is intended as a user-friendly introductory and evaluation tool for the RL78/G12 - microcontroller. The board also provides a useful platform for evaluating the Renesas Cube suite of development tools for coding and Flashing, using a High-performance Embedded Workshop as well as programming the device using the Flash Development Toolkit. 20-pin to 48-pin Renesas controller daughterboard supported evaluation board.
The Renesas evaluation board support uart which connect to the host PC using a simple RS232 serial connection
The purpose of the board is to enable the user to evaluate the capabilities of the device and its peripherals by giving the user a simple platform on which code can be run only minutes from the opening box. It can also prove an invaluable tool in development by providing a useful test platform for code already debugged using one of our more powerful emulation tools.
The E2 emulator Lite (abbreviated as "E2 Lite") is an on-chip debugging emulator and flash programmer for MCUs of the RX, RA, RE, and RL78 families. The E2 Lite is more economical than the E1 and is suitable for work across the whole range from hobbyist projects and education to professional development.
